Great location in central London, just off New Bond street, but surprisingly good value. Reception is through a small entrance door between two restaurants and up stairs, where a cheerful chap handed out the keycard and explained that one's room may well not be in the same building; mine was on opposite side of street and on third floor of a quirky old building (ie uneven floors.) Room was small but adequate, with windows overlooking the street. Cul-de-sac street was quiet enough to sleep with open windows. Loo and shower were fine. Kettle with tea, coffee etc provided but take your own milk if you don't like the powdered sort provided. I didn't take breakfast option but had an excellent supper in the Italian restaurant downstairs.

We stayed at the five people room, on the third floor. The location is great. Sattar was very kind and helped us switching the heater on. The installations are clean, the beds were made every day, new towels… The room was big enough for us 5, the mattress were very comfortable. The bathroom was ok. No mold on the ceilings or walls, and there were no water leaks on the shower. There was hot water and no loss of pressure. The temperature in the room could be adapted and we were very well. The stairs were narrow, no lift, but that’s not a problem if you have no mobility problems. The three children and the two adults were very comfortable here. If we come back we will probably repeat.

The room was very compact and basic but in a very convenient location, clean and the bed was VERY comfortable. We only stayed for one night, and didn't use the shower, but it looked TINY. I imagine it would be a struggle for an average height/build man to turn in the shower. The property was ideal and perfect for me and my daughters to stay for 1 night as we just needed a clean and safe place to sleep. It was very near Hyde Park where we were visiting Winter Wonderland. It was only a few minutes walk to the high street, too.

The location (a block off of Oxford Street) couldn't be beat; we couldn't hear any of the noise of Oxford, but were close to everything both walking and by Tube (3 min. to Bond Street station). My family's room was spacious and tidy with all of the basic necessities, and we were able to leave our luggage at the front desk on our last day as we had a little time in the city beyond checkout. Also, the price was perfect for the convenient location and what was offered!

It was a very good value for central London. Is it fancy? No. But it was pretty clean, the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful, and it did not break our budget. What you get is a room, beds, a fan or two, towels, and ensuite bath. Nothing special...it does the job. And really, why are you in London anyway? To admire your hotel or to enjoy London? Get out there and enjoy London and come back here for a decent place to sleep.
